The CO Bar Solar Complex consists of photovoltaic (PV) generation and battery energy storage solution (BESS) elements. By combining renewable energy generation and advanced storage technologies, the complex will deliver reliable, affordable electricity while enhancing grid flexibility. The battery systems will store excess solar energy produced during peak sunlight hours and dispatch that energy when it is needed most, helping provide clean power beyond daylight hours and supporting Arizona's growing energy needs.
