Administrative Assistant

We are currently looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to work with our Asset Management or Engineering team in managing and developing renewable energy projects across the United States. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (Position may include additional functions not listed)

  • Provide administrative support to assigned department
  • Develop and process variety of documents using applicable software; proofread all work to ensure accuracy
  • Professionally handle variety of external callers and internal contacts
  • Manage and track a large volume of invoices and payments
  • Input all project purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate meetings and conference calls
  • Record internal and external meeting minutes
  • Data entry in diverse formats and platforms
  • Maintain and update paper and electronic filing system
  • Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and projects
  • Tackle complex organizational/administrative projects with creative problem-solving and a willingness to learn
  • Other duties as assigned


  • QUALIFICATIONS: (Required knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, etc.)

  • High school degree or equivalent; associates degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • 2+ years’ experience working as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position
  • Proven experience with MS Word, MS Excel, NetSuite, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Aptitude for independent problem-solving
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn Intuit and/or Microsoft based data management and electronic filing system
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage competing deadlines or projects
  • Committed team player with the ability to develop and maintain productive work relationships
  • Flexibility conducive to a fast-paced, growing company environment


  • PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: (physical, environmental, travel, etc.)

  • Ability to work in office setting; primarily sedentary; use of normal office machines
  • Availability to work additional hours or weekends as projects demand
